I've rarely seen such poor service that could be construed as malicious. - They have promised to deliver thrice now and failed - try to call in order to find out status and you're in for a half hour, or more wait. Avoid, it's not only a false economy, they're liability. You think you'll save a pound, or two, but you'll end up wasting days waiting and hours on the phone. Avoid al all costs.
I ordered a chest freezer that I have been searching for since February. Boots had it in stock and at a reasonable price. I paid for shipping, nominated day, and then the day after, I read reviews. I was expecting it to not be delivered or when delivered it would either be damaged or a return. Low and behold, it arrived when they said it would, brand new and in an undamaged box by a very nice and cheerful chap. I don't think many people write reviews if everything turns out ok, but it did for me, so well done.

This company does not honour it's topcashback claims. Recently brought a new dishwasher from them via the topcashback portal and the claim was refused by them despite concrete evidence was procured and delivered.
My washing machine had exploded inside and I contacted boots which I think was actually AO.com and the gentleman I got called abbas(I apologise if this is not how his name is spelled ) was lovely and could not be more helpful to me even though the actually company who made the machine Beko were abrupt and unhelpful, Abbas new my situation with having a severely disabled child and made sure I wasn’t waiting for a new machine. He went way over and above I’m so grateful for him today, he is a great representation of what a customer service employee should be. He has made my Xmas and new year. Thank you

Today I have received a fridge freezer from this company
it has a huge dent in the front
I have emailed them and heard nothing back
I am currently on the phone and have been told there is a 51 minute waiting time
I thought boots were a reputable company
I am now without a fridge
There is a 14 day refund policy ?
What would happen if I did not have the money in the bank to buy a replacement
I am disgusted, is there no quality control or do the people who handle the products care ?
I am fuming, I have had to cancel a food delivery order
And as so many people are doing online shopping I will have to get a taxi to do some shopping as I do not drive

Avoid at all costs. Next day delivery was 6pm three days later. Tracking imprecise. Delivery men rushed in unmasked and dumped a packaged fridge-freezer in the middle of the kitchen. Refused to unpack and install. Behaved like stroppy teens. Told me they were not meant to install and when I insisted they were and asked how on earth I was meant to do it by myself they then informed me that that their manager told them not to because they were running late. Eventually they decided to install and in their careless rush heavily dented the side. Boots need to seriously rethink the company they are using to “power” their appliances dept i.e AO Retail Ltd.
Ordered fridge freezer due for delivery today no tracking available had two phone calls from boots trying to sell insurance for fridge freezer asked why no tracking info was informed because of covid. Rang to ask if order was going to be delivered was then informed it was not available and hadn't been in stock when ordered. Totally useless company took the money knowing they couldn't forfill the order . AO.com actually are the supplier of the goods but have zero idea of customer service or telling the truth so beware unless you want to wait on the phone for 50 minutes to be told they never had the item to sell in the first place. Total morons and crooks
We made a mistake buying a fridge from Boots and buying this fridge freezer was a nightmare to us. At the buying phase there were no problem. But then the problems started. I specifically state that they need to carry it to my flat and there are stairs. At first delivery appointment they did not even show up. At second appointment they came, and they said that they cannot take the refrigerator to the flat and they went back. At the third appointment they came, and they tried to take the fridge to the flat. I said TRIED but they COULDNT BE ABLE TO. They DROPPED the fridge, they damaged all the apartment walls, they damaged the fridge and most importantly they BROKE THE APARTMENT GLASS. They could have hurt themselves or anyone else. This was a complete disaster. My children could get hurt. I called them and explain the situation they said they will change the refrigerator and came to my flat 4th time. The team came said that they cannot take the damaged one and they again left my flat. At the fifth time they finally be able to take the refrigerator away from my flat.
I want to Express that I am terribly disappointed this experience. The journey began at the June and because of the clumsiness of the BOOTS I didn’t have a fridge until September. We are a family with 3 children, and we did not have a fridge in summer days. Also, we waited all Sunday at home because of them. At the end I asked them to pay for the glass and the walls and they are not accepting this. This is the last point. I trusted the name of The BOOTS and I am really disappointed by the way of your doing things.
I would like to say that I bought a refrigerator from somewhere else and it is an american style fridge and I had no problem with the delivery. This is your clumsiness and I am waiting for them to take responsibility.
I paid for a new cooker and installation in March. I was left with a faulty installation that was leaking gas and was subsequently cut off by my supplier. The customer service was appalling and I had to threaten suicide to get the cooker removed. I am still not reconnected, my landlord and gas supplier say this is the responsiblity of Boots Appliances. Boots only suggestion was that I pay someone else to reconnect, then claim back the money from them. I have had to buy an electric cooker from another company. I have heard nothing to my requests to be reconnected. I have tried the website messaging service, and in writing.
I order a TV by phone on the 23rd August. Delivery was made as promised today. I still have no invoice for my purchase nor have any points yet been put on my Advantage account. I have called several times and refuse to wait for 30 minutes to speak to an agent. Awful service
BAD BAD BAD, this is not a 1 star i would like it to be minus if it were at all possible.
Unable to communicate with this company, cannot get through on the phone, they never respond to emails, i only wish i looked at these reviews beforehand, what i am more disgusted about is that it is part of AO.COM which i will think twice about purchasing from them in the future. what ever you do AVOID THIS COMPANY unless you want to add your bad review to this growing list

Ordered dishwasher to get it delivered in a few days as mine got broken, a day before delivery they send me an email stating that the model I chose is out of stock (on the day when I placed the order it was in stock according website), and offered similar model from another manufacturer, I refused it because I wanted particular brand, then they offered more expensive model and 70 pounds discount, which is increased total sum by 30 quid, and delivery after two days. I agreed with the offer and expected my dishwasher delivered on the agreed day. On the delivery day I've tried to contact customer service to find out the delivery slot, however only option was to speak with the driver, and after choosing this option you end up with nothing. Of course my order wasn't delivered. Next day I canceled the order and fingers cross that I receive my money in reasonable time.
Also want to share customer service number which one is answered with no delays, so hope it will help to deal your issues with this non trustable company.
